12 videos that require no planning and 3 that you need to plan

June 18, 2018 by AngelAnderson

A single video can help you reach new clients, can help you sell more, can help you minimize customer service requests.

Some business videos require no planning at all, and you can record right now, but others require planning.

To be clear when I’m talking about business videos, I’m not talking about conspiracy theory videos, celebrity gossip, news, pranks, product reviews, vlogs, or gaming videos.

Business videos that require planning

  1. Do a Q&A
  2. Video Testimonial
  3. Interview a person

Introduce Yourself

If you are an entrepreneur or a business owner and your introduction sucks you will lose business. Next time you meet a potential client, make sure you tell them how they can benefit from what you do.

Answer frequently asked questions

Answering frequently asked questions can help improve your sales, minimize customer service requests and can help you be found during Google search (SEO)

How to communicate with you

Using a video to tell your current clients and potential clients how to communicate with you will eliminate any questions on how to communicate and what to expect after they send a request.

Share something unique

Sharing something unique about your product especially when they don’t know about it or don’t expect it will help you capture peoples attention and generate traffic to your product landing page.

Getting started with

A video has the power to improve the customer journey and make your marketing even more useful. Sharing a getting started video about your product will help your client get started with merely 1,2,3. When your client gets to use your product right away, they will be happy and if they are happy they are more likely to share the experience with others.

Solve a problem

A well-executed how-to video has the power to engage, delight, and establish trust in a way other mediums can’t. Educating clients and potential clients will help you capture their attention and empower them to walk away with all the information they need to be successful.

Share a behind the scenes video

Use videos to show, not tell. In fact, 93% of businesses who use video to show what they do believe that it has increased user understanding of their product or service. Behind the scene, videos also give you the opportunity to establish a human connection with your audience and show off your brand’s voice and style.

Show what you do

Show what you do is a great way to create awareness and to show potential customers that you have a solution to their problems without having to sell. I have shared videos where you can see me recording videos to clients in Tampa, Florida and that captured the attention of others in the local area and eventually lead to a new client.

Company updates

Internal video updates can be used to update employees, and external video updates can be used to update clients and potential customers about what’s going on and what they can expect. This video is great to remind people you still exist without asking for the sale.

Video voicemails

You can quickly establish credibility with a video voicemail that provides value to your prospect or lead, while also building trust.

Do a Q&A

Doing a Q&A can help customers and potential clients succeed. Let’s say a potential customer is losing interest or not using your product as frequent as they once were. If you reach out and ask them to submit their questions for an upcoming Q&A will improve customer retention. For potential clients, a Q&A will drive sales.

Video Testimonial

When a customer shares their story about how your product helped them solve a particular business problem, it’s easy for the viewer to imagine themselves in their shoes.

Interview a person

This is one of the best videos I could possible create in my opinion. Because I get to learn from the person I’m interviewing, my guest is exposed to my current and future, and I get exposed to my guest audience. Is a win-win for both, for you and me.

In conclusion, you can quickly create awareness with video, provide value and make more sales. If you still need help deciding what video will help your current business situation or you need help recording and editing your next video maybe we can help you, click here to schedule a call
