I had the opportunity to speak in front of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce B2B’s on video marketing and here are a few takeaways.
If a picture is worth 1,000 words a video is worth 1,000 asks.
- With video, you can show, instead of telling.
- With video, you can better connect with your customers
- Because people are watching more videos now than reading
The problem is that people think of what they are going to say right before they start to record the video. The title is made up on the spot, the description is written without strategy or intention, and that’s why you are not getting the results you expected.
What do you think? am I right? right?
All your content, including videos, must be in line with your marketing plan. If you don’t have one, create one. If you have one, print it, read it and follow it.
What videos should you be recording?
- Show a client meeting
- Show your travel
- Show how you relax
- Show how you scout
- Show how you pack
- Show how you engage
- Show you
- How to tutorials
- Video testimonials
- Some type of weekly show
- Behind the scenes
- x# of mistakes
- Community events
